The Farm

After lots of requests, here are a few pictures of our new, well, new to us, but 130 year old house and of Georgia enjoying and little outdoor time. Thank you Aunt Nancy for the cute outfit Georgia is sporting. She only wants to wear jeans now:) It's finally cooled off to the low 80's and feels wonderful outside! We really love living here and it's especially neat that the girls get to grow up in the same house that thier grandma Betty did.

Gracie Pierce Youngblood Arrived!

Born on August 1st at 8:24 am and weighing in at 6 lbs 8 oz, 19 1/4 inches long. She's a very sweet little girl who takes after her big sister with her love of eating! She's sleeping great and every now and then opens an eyeball or two, usually not at the same time:) My c-section lasted a very long and terrifying 2 hours and 20 minutes. The spinal didn't really work very well and I felt most of the surgery. Ouch! After two hours of the doctor trying to get me to stop bleeding, they put me all the way under and finished up 20 minutes later. Dave was great and really helped to keep me calm. We are home now and resting. My recover is going so much better this time around! Georgia is really in awe of this little Gracie. She keeps running around saying Baaaaaaaaaa-Beeeeeeeee and trying to poke her. It's cute. Enjoy the photos!
