Summer Portraits 2009

While Dave was in IL and WI giving our tolerance and diversity presentation to high schoolers, I thought I'd be brave and take the kids (BY MYSELF!) to get pictures taken. Wow, it was a long 2 hours total but I think we made it. I got a cd of all the poses, so many of these are not ones we ordered, but thought you'd love to see how hysterical Gracie thought the whole process was. She was a hoot the entire time and it was hard to get her to NOT be silly!!! At least we didn't have a single tear from anyone! Yippie, a milestone! Thanks to Aunt Annie for Georgia's blue dress, Jack for Wyatt's blue and red shirt and Chelsea for the darling light blue and white summer dresses.

Dave and the girls had a little tea party complete with tiny sugar cookies and warm apple juice. After 3 cups, Dave was stuffed! Here's a few more photos from Leah's birthday party too.

Our visit to Pennsylvania!

It was the best trip ever! The kids did great in the car and hotel. I'm hoping they did great while being watched by Grandma Dot, Grandpa Ed, Aunt Nancy, Uncle Gary and Derek while Dave and I went on a little date to Gettysburg Saturday afternoon:) I think everyone except Georgia was worn out by the time we got back to their house! That girl has a never ending amount of energy. Thanks to everyone for the wonderful time. We enjoyed visiting with you all and our trip to Hershey was the perfect way to say goodbye.
