Day 4

On day 4, we went out to lunch and then to an outdoor mall for a little stroll. Grandma Laurie made ice cream cones for the girls back at home. This was the first cone they've ever had by themselves. They were covered from head to toe in chocolate chip mint with sprinkles! They had a blast! After dinner, Grandma Laurie read them some stories before they went to bed. It was a really fun trip had by all!

Day 3

Day 3 was pretty mellow. We took a walk down the the river and let the girls splash around before loading them up in both baby joggers and walking to the candy store and then a nice long loop around our neighborhood. Georgia actually fell asleep in the jogger. This is the first nap I've seen her take in probably 2 years! We spent the rest of the afternoon hanging out on the playset in the back yard.

Day 2 we had a picnic at a cute beach and park in New Baltimore (Michigan). The girls even got to play in the sand and wade in the water. After that we did a little more swimming at Grandma Laurie's hotel. Even Wyatt put on his swimming trunks and kicked around by the pool. This was the day little Gracie didn't have time to nap so she was super tired. We put the kids to bed at 6 and then got just Georgia up later that night to watch Dave's fireworks show. He put on quite the show too. He had all the fireworks timed out and lit accordingly so they were continuous saving the biggest ones for the finale! He also set up the swing and lawn chairs so we could view them all in style. It was so fun and Georgia loved coming outside in her jammies.

Grandma Laurie's Visit

Day 1 we went up to the farm and visited with all the animals, lounged in rocking chairs and sat on the wagon. Then we headed into Romeo to eat and play at McDonald's.
