Labor Day Weekend Project (Day One)

Poor Dave has more projects than he has time for these days. The playset was top priority though:)It says on the box "build and play in one day". Ha! Three days later we have a complete, perfected, and of course "modified by Dave" playset. It's ultra safe, secure and tough now that Dave is through with it. I do not think he appreciated me constantly reminding him that the BOX SAID it would only take one day! I think I was worse than the kids! All we have left to do is add some woodchips.

The Armada 135th Annual Fair

Betty, Dave and I took the girls to the fair for the first time. We stayed about 3 hours and it was nonstop action! Georgia wanted to go on all the rides. The only time she cried was when the ride guy told her she was too young for one of the rides that she really had her heart set on. She did still get to go on a few grownup rides with Dave. She even did a few by herself. I do think her favorite was the merry-go-round. Both girls went on it twice. The animals were neat and very friendly and the food was excellent. It was a very fun day and we can't wait until next year. Both girls hit their pillows hard and are probably dreaming of rides and ponies right now:)
