Perfect Limeade

Dave's recipe for perfect limeade: 1 part fresh sqeezed lime juice, 1 part sugar, 3 parts cold water. Yummm!

So much for those 1 year photos I planned!

I took Wyatt in for his 1 year shots (4 shots total) today and while we were waiting for the doctor to come in, he tripped and crashed into the metal leg of the patient room chair. His goose egg was 2x this size instantly after the incident. We iced it, calmed him down and then still made him go through with the shots since we were already there. Poor little guy. They checked his pupils, reflexes and throat since he also got a bloody nose from the accident. They sent us home and not downstairs to the ER so hopefully everything will turn out okay. I'm guessing his head hurts way more than his legs tonight. Sure not how I planned today to go:) He was a real tropper though and is already down to bed for the night.

Lunch in Detroit

We had a super fun day with Nana and Grandma Laurie on Thursday. We went downtown Detroit and had lunch in the Renaissance Center where the GM Headquarters are. Our table had a great view of the water and the City of Windsor in Ontario, Canada.

Georgia's 4th Birthday

Georgia had the best birthday ever! We had a wonderful day all day and then a party later that night. She really had her heart set on a Barbie cake so pink it was! I made cupcakes for her school too. It was a great day. Thanks to everyone for the gifts, phone calls, birthday wishes and thinking of her on her day.
